Summer 2008 is here, and for so many that means one thing. A return to Ibiza, and ultimately to 16 weeks of forward-thinking beats at We Love Space 08, Sundays.

Moving into our 10th season together at Space, you will excuse us for becoming emotional. Tastes may have evolved and opinions ever-change, but we have been steadfast in our objective. To keep you dancing day & night, to bring you memories you’ll never forget, and introduce you to friends you wish you could 'forget'.

To celebrate our 10th season, each week, We Love…will be hosting our birthday party from the 15th of June until 28th of September at our new opening times from 4pm Sunday through to 6am Monday.

Joining us will be what we believe to be the finest selection of residents and guests the electronic music scene has to offer, for example 2manydjs through to Hot Chip swinging over to Mr Paul Oakenfold and racing to the finishing line with Miss Kittin and Laurent Garnier to name but a sample of the tastemakers, alongside this seasons total DJ collective; combining to craft the diversity, quality and hedonism that We Love…has constantly strived to create at our infamous day & night festivals.

Also returning this year will be the weekly We Love…podcasts, We Love…tv and correspondences from our erroneous blogger. Add to that regular sets from the club and incredible competitions, we’re all set for the best season yet.

This year We Love... are taking positive steps towards reducing the overall impact that our parties create on the Ibizian environment. Ibiza is our summer playground and we are very conscious of the impact that clubbing and clubbers have on the area. Obviously we would never want to jeopardise the relationships we have built with the local community and it has been very clear in recent months that the flyer litter generated by all the clubs operating on the island over the summer months has got out of hand. This year we have printed fewer flyers and posters to limit our impact, and have chosen to print all our flyers on FSC approved recycled paper stocks (for more information visit http://www.fsc.org) and use vegetable based inks to further reduce our personal impact.

Recycled paper reduces the amount of waste paper going to landfill and rubbish dumps, reducing the number of landfill sites we need. It also reduces the amount of natural resources needed to produce paper. Recycled paper does not use wood and the process of making paper from recycled pulp uses fewer resources such as fossil fuels and water.

We all have a responsibility to keep the island tidy, so we would ask all our WLS 08 clubbers to think about the luxury they are being afforded by this beautiful island. Enjoy yourselves, but please think of the local community while you do.
