The bosses are back, the office has been re-painted, the lads are still having trouble wooing the local lasses despite our recommendations last month (they say it's due to impeccably high standards, we think it's more about burgeoning beer-guts) and of course, the gossip's already begun about just who will be appearing on our line-ups in 2010.

We're not going to give too much away just yet, though we can tell you we've just locked in four exclusive dates on the Terrazza with our good mate Mat Playford. Diaries at the ready? We'll be seeing him on June 13th, July 11th, August 8th and September 5th... In other island news, we're mourning the demise of our favourite early-morning party hangout, Delano, which will be no more in 2010, meaning we're also on the hunt for a new place for our traditional Monday morning 'after-work bevvies'.

On the plus side, our favourite holiday in Ibiza is just around the corner... Semana Santa. No, it's not a case of Ibiza being behind the rest of the world and receiving visits from Señor Santa Claus in April, but it does involve some shifty looking blokes in hats popping into town for a visit. The official translation is 'week of saints' and all kicks off on the Easter weekend, starting with a grand parade through the winding streets of Dalt Vila on Good Friday, April 2.

They say a picture tells a thousand words, so rather than describe it any more, we'll leave you with some spooky images of parades gone by... Intrigued? We'll see you there next month!

WE LOVE SOUNDS... AUSTRALIA – SECOND ROUND ACTS ANNOUNCED!

Call the airlines and start packing your bags, because the 7th annual We Love Sounds winter festival have just announced their second round of acts touring Australia from June 4th - 14th. Check out the who's who below and stay tuned for a third announcement of acts next month!

There's a distinctly old school feel, created thorough a mix of current tunes, mixing up deep, tech, dub, soulful and U.S. House.

Dave James – 2010 DJ mix Another cracker from our remix man Dave James. 'As usual the mix starts deep and minimal' he explains, 'and then builds from there. It also features three of my own tracks that will make up the first EP on my label Freq! Digital Recordings land plus other tracks that have been featuring heavily in my gigs on discerning UK dance floors.' By the way, Dave's winning remix of Yousef's Africa will be released on Renaissance in March.

KITRA CAHANA Kitra Cahana is a young emerging documentary photographer who had an early start in her career when, at the age of 17, while photographing the Israeli Disengagement from Gaza, one of her photographs landed on the front page of the New York Times.
