Bloody Valentines. Is that all anyone can ever talk about in February? Here in Ibiza, it took on slightly less of a mercenary tactic than in bigger cities (thankfully!) but the telltale heart-shaped balloons, long queues in the florist and overpriced ‘special' restaurant menus last Sunday still paid testament to the fact that love is indeed a serious business.

Bah humbug. We've always loved Sundays. Any given Sunday, as the case may be - it doesn't need to be attached to the patron saint of perfumes for us to declare it loud and proud. Here at We Love... HQ we're in the thick of plans to entertain you every Sunday at Space this coming summer. In fact, right now it's all go, go, go in our offices... though to be honest, part of this could also be attributed to the fact the bosses are back this week, as the rooms are frantically being swept, scrubbed and stripped of any telltale Burger King wrappers accordingly!

Speaking of food and the We Love... offices however, it might be worth mentioning that in the wake of yet another loveless V.Day on the island, a certain pair of We Love staffers were spotted getting cosy over a gi-normous roast dinner at island staple Sunday haunt JD's Bistro, on the sunny-but-windy shores of Playa D'en Bossa. Were they crying into one another's gravy boats or merely hatching new plans to win the hearts of the unsuspecting local lasses?

Our tip to the boys: One surefire way to get your date to hold your hand is to take her down into the depths of Necropolis Del Puig Des Molins in Ibiza Town, to check out the spooky tombs, catacombs, mummies and skeletons of Ibiza's ancient Phoenician forefathers. WE LOVE... RADIO In this month's edition, our previously unheard live DJ set comes from We Love... resident David Philips who kick-started the Discoteca every week throughout the 2009 season. This set is from 23rd August 2009. Other musical selections this month are provided by the guys from Wall of Sound who - as well as being a successful cutting edge UK label - brought Grace Jones to We Love Space in 2009 as part of their 15th anniversary celebrations. WE LOVE SOUNDS... AUSTRALIA - FIRST ROUND ACTS ANNOUNCED!

The 7th annual We Love Sounds winter festival, touring nationally from June 4th – 14th has finally been announced. Last year's festival saw sellout shows in all cities and the 2010 line-up takes the event to the next level – all the more reason to start planning that holiday down under.

Steve Aoki, brings his DIM MAK bus to town, showcasing the likes of Crookers, Steve Aoki and more. Canada's Tiga presents PLANET TURBO, featuring cool cats like Tiga, Felix Da Housecat, Zombie Nation live and The Proxy live. WE LOVE... ANDY WARHOL - EMPIRE A musical event took place in New York recently, eight hours of solid sound, as a live accompaniment to Andy Warhol's Empire – a film notorious for its one, unchanging shot of the Empire State Building. The eight-hour, five-minute film, which is typically shown in a theatre, lacks a traditional narrative or characters.
