The most recent addition to the physical makeup of Space. Hosted this year by non other than Chris Bones, El Salon is a chic and intimate back-room where DJs, promoters and workers from the island take time out from the hustle of the main rooms. In recent years the room has played host to rarefied sets from the likes of Bobby Gillespie from Primal Scream, horror-italo maestro Bottin, nu-balearic wunderkind Architeq and tripped-out electronica with Psychonauts. 2011 sees the the return of the Tirk Records crew standing shoulder to shoulder with West London fashonistas Black Rabbit who both have monthly residencies this summer. Artists playing music you didn't expect to hear, re-edits and psychedelic disco reigning supreme.
