London based, Australian born Adrian Nicholson AKA j u g was lured to the UK in 2002 by his love for electronic music and the desire to promote his own events. In 2004 London club night Digital Beanbag was born. Well sourced local talent played alongside emerging international names and were united under one roof by a genuine love for electronic music. With artists such as Quenum, Pan-Pot, Agnes, Chaton, Apoll and Lee Cutriss all gracing the Beanbag stage it quickly became a special and unique place to be for those in the know; climaxing without the legendary Fieldgate street parties.

j u g's early influences came from Hardfloor, Kit Clayton, Detroit techno, the southern italian sound of 2000 and beyond. Drawing on these elements j u g conjures up a deep, grooving and interesting dancefloor experience.
