Over the past decade, Groove Armada have become firmly established as one of the planet's most-loved dance acts. The duo, Tom Findlay and Andy Cato, have stormed the charts and headlined stages at the world's biggest festivals (Glastonbury, Big Day Out, Coachella and their very own Lovebox event). Now, in 2010, they've achieved massive critical acclaim for their incredible new album, Black Light - rightly, described by the Sunday Times as "their best album yet".

But although Black Light sees the band experimenting with new sounds and ideas (with glorious results), Tom Findlay and Andy Cato remain two of the most passionate fans of house music fans you'll ever meet.
They're also incredibly knowledgeable and talented DJs. That's why, two decades after they both started playing with decks in their bedrooms, they're now among the world's most in-demand party starters.

Groove Armada, it's worth remembering, were the DJs that first whipped the 250,000 crowd into a frenzy at Fatboy Slim's infamous Brighton beach party (the one which went so bonkers, the police had to close it down). Since then, they've played countless residencies in Ibiza, and lugged their record bags to all corners of the world, from remote Romanian beaches to a DJ booth in a WW1 aeroplane in LA. And everywhere they go, it properly goes off.

This summer, the duo will return to Ibiza for a residency at We Love.. Space. As ever, they'll bring along a mixture of tough, upfront tunes, their own edits of clubland classics, and some unreleased dance-orientated GA material, which they'll unleash back-to-back on their four deck set-up. Along side this Groove Armada are set for a very special Black Light Live spectacular in the We Love… Space Discoteca.

"Whether you're playing to 80 people or 80,000, it's still an incredible feeling when you get the whole place bouncing," says Findlay. Happily for him - and for clubbers around the world - it's something of a given when Groove Armada hit the decks.
