It’s not often that talent comes rising through the ranks fully formed, undiluted, and with as much potential as Foamo (aka Kye Gibbon).
For a 21 year old from the sleepy town of High Wycombe, it’s quite an achievement to hit the ground running with his debut single ‘Moving It Over Here’ on Cubism Records surprising established producers old enough to be his dad with the depth and quality of his engineering skills, never mind the absolutely huge bassline!
Since then further release on labels like Wearhouse and massive blog hits for his high profile remixes of The Mystery Jets and La Roux have secured his reputation as one of the UK’s brightest young producers.
Avid Radio support has come from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, Rob Da Bank and Pete Tong, Kissy Sell Out, Andy George and Jaymo in addition to club DJ support from The Bloody Beatroots, Fake Blood, Alex Metric from Armand Van.
Foamo’s latest single ‘War Dance’ has been licensed internationally with labels such as Skint, So Sweet Records and Ministry Of Sound. After summer appearances at Electric Daisy Carnival, Truck Festival and Bestival, Foamo will be back on the club circuit this Autumn.
