Resident of the number one club in his native Brazil, Green Valley, Ferris is a pioneer and one of the most respected names of the local House scene. With a strong base built by his deep involvement with music, working for radio stations and record companies, his 20 year DJ career also showcases a mix of influences and experiences, bringing to his audiences an intelligent and contagious blend of melodies, high quality and energetic grooves. The turning point came when he won one of Brazil's biggest DJ competition ever, the Heineken's Found@Thirst. His conquer paid off, a few months later he was voted the Best House DJ of the Year by DJ Sound Magazine. The proof of his competence is the constant presence at the most important festivals and parties around the country, sharing booths and stages with big names such as Tiesto, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Erick Morillo, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Fatboy Slim, Steve Angello and many others. In 2009, Ferris found his international career taking off with constant gigs in New York and Miami, where he can be seen playing at the Ultra Music Festival for three years in a row now.
