From an early age he was exposed to his parents record collection, and as a teenager it was always quality underground house music being blasted around the house. As a wide eyed youngster he was always fascinated by the legendary tales of his dads trips to Ibiza and time spent flirting with the infamous M25 ring road waiting for the next illegal rave to be “called in”.

That was about it for several years until he arrived in Leeds as a student with a passion for music which spanned a variety of sounds. After a year of being treated to exceptional house and techno parties around the city his passion had become an obsession. In October 2006 he decided to get rid of his frustrations of watching his friends become “bedroom DJ’s” and get rid of his student loan as well by purchasing a pair of 1210’s and his first piece of vinyl.

He applied to the fledgling Oxjam Music Festival to organise a party which could be a platform to bring new sounds and artists to his own backyard. After being accepted as a viable candidate he presented this opportunity to his friends and they embarked on a mission to organise their own party. Twelve months down the line from purchasing his first vinyl he found himself spinning records at his own party to a packed out Mint Club playing alongside some of electronic musics most forward thinking artists.

Since then him and Louche have gone from strength to strength as he continues his residency proving his versatility behind the decks, adapting his sets to the occasion from early warm ups to low slung closings your always guaranteed a meticulously thought out track selection put together for the feet & the mind.

Whether spending his time DJ'ing or constantly working on bringing in new artists to wherever the party may be, add hunting for new music and programming the musical ethos of Louche for the dancefloor and their renowned podcast series its clear his dedication to the cause won't let up.
