After a couple of trips to Manchester based Tribal Sessions at the tender age of 17 it ignited a love for all things dance music, not long after a pair of decks where purchased! Only a month later and a chance meeting at an open deck night in home town Bolton resulted in brad’s first residency alongside good friend and future mono_cult ally Matt Long.

Very quickly the pair went on to play at House nights in Manchester at venues such as Area 51 (formerly Emporia), North and Sankey’s. After doing the rounds in both Manchester and Leeds, it was soon obvious to both Brad and Matt Long that to progress further they would need to start a club night of their own and so mono_cult was born.

After a couple of great parties for a fledgling club night it was the third Sunday day party which really put mono_cult on the map with over 800 people packing into the Lounge for a party which blew the expectations of all of its promoters! With the Leeds based monthly club night going from strength to strength it gave Brad the freedom to develop his style in to what is now pure house music!
