Biography
During the summer months Mr Doris helps to represent the new wave of musical expansion in Ibiza with residencies at globally recognised clubs such as Space & Pacha. While during the winter period he holds down a coveted residency for London based Soundcrash (alongside DJ Vadim & Mr Thing). All this between a massive international touring shedule that has seen him smash parties on every continent.
In the studio Mr Doris is as flexible as he is behind the turntables - past production has taken in genres ranging from downtempo beats & hip hop to house & drum & bass on labels such as Brake Horse, Record Kicks & Bang! With the likes of MTV & Red Bull using them for their respective advertising campaigns.
This year sees the anticipated release of newly recorded material, remixes for incredible artists such as Rodney P (Tru Thoughts), Omegaman (Fort Knox) & The Baker Brothers (Record Kicks) + freshly squeezed mix compilations for the likes of Defected & El Chiringuito.
In 2011 Mr Doris was recognised in the International DJ Awards alongside Gilles Peterson, Nightmares On Wax, Mr Scruff, Rob Da Bank & many more...
Curator & resident dj of 'After Dark' on the famous Sunset Terrace of We Love... Space (Ibiza) every Sunday, Mr Doris welcomes a huge array of artists (most of whom make their Ibiza debuts alongside him) that have included the likes of Quantic, Jazzanova, DJ Yoda, The Correspondents, Krafty Kuts, A Skillz & The Nextmen to name a few. This has brought a whole new musical angle to the super-club & to the forefront of the Ibiza clubbing scene. Expect music without borders... hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, latin, disco, drum & bass, afrobeat, house, electro, reggae, dubstep, rhythm & blues, ska, in short, good, varied, soulful sounds!
