Ian C has been hitting things for a living ever since he can remember, and can’t believe how lucky he is to get paid for what he loves. As a teen he started off playing drums in bands, moving to hand percussion in clubs and finally adding a state of the art electronic kit to his armoury five years ago. Thankfully he has had the enduring support of the makers of this kit (Roland) who have backed him with an artist agreement.

In his various guises Ian has played with hundreds of big name DJs in some fantastic places, most of which he can remember. He is associated internationally with several brands and he has played in every continent except Australasia (therefore any offers in this area would be greatly appreciated) and is currently involved in some intriguing creative and performing work in Russia which is exciting despite the ordeal of so much stone faced bureaucracy at customs.

Ian began playing at We Love last summer when he was recommended to Mr Doris (or Doris to his friends), at this first gig he met Ibiza legend Alfredo who liked what he did and invited him to play on the Sunset Terrace with him for the rest of the season. This was a moment for Ian, his favourite room at his favourite night in his favourite club and making his über tolerant girlfriend cry for all the right reasons. Ian must have played well as he will be playing with Alfredo on the Sunset Terrace every week this summer and can’t wait, especially as Roland and Boss have bestowed upon him some interesting new toys...
