As much a part of Ibiza as an overpriced Mojito, Ian Blevins is hastily becoming one of the islands defining features. Thanks to a weekly residency at arguably the greatest, and by far the most globally well-known night on the island, We Love… at Space, his profile gains pace with every set he unleashes.

Years of passionately listening to and searching for music, both new and old, has seen Ian’s style mature and has helped cultivate a sound that is now synonymous with his name. Extensive tours in Asia and Australia have peppered recent years, conquering countless venues along the way, including the world-renowned Playground Festival in Sydney, his run as the warm up DJ for Crazy Penis’ on their Australian tour and jawdropping events throughout Thailand and Singapore. Over in Europe, the winters have seen Ian play all over the UK and Germany, from the coolest, most underground venues to the likes of award winning super-clubs Digital and Ministry of Sound.

Never one to sit back in his downtime, Ian has been hard at work in the studio over the last two years ensuring his own productions match the standard he has set for himself in the club scene. Having already released on CityWest Records and with a backline of tracks set to be unleashed over coming months, the stage is set for Ian to make a visible dent in the global production field.

Back on the white isle in 2011 you can catch Ian weekly at Space with continuing residencies at We Love… and Future Disco. Add to this his regular gigs at the island’s sweetest party spots such as clued up islanders favourite Lo Cura and venues spanning Playa d’en Bossa to San Antonio it’s more than a fair bet you will be treated to his trademark beats one night or another. Just ask any of the 16,000 strong crowd that witnessed his set at We Love’s closing fiesta in 2009 on the legendary Space Terrace… Ian Blevins defines the term ‘the one to watch’, this season and beyond.
