It's a pretty big call, and we don't generally like to pull it out of the bag until the end of the season, however.... Drum roll please.... We think James Zabiela absolutely nailed the set of the summer last weekend! If nothing else, let's call it a personal best, because he's still got two more gigs coming up for us in which to outdo himself!

Credit where credit's due however, as Dimitri From Paris gave a true master class out on the Terraza, meanwhile there was a veritable ‘battle of the bands' style clash taking place between Simian Mobile Disco and the guys from Hot Chip in between rooms. The jury's still out on the winning act, since it was impossible to be in two places at once. Anyone got any video footage?

2manydjs fans will be making a beeline for the Terraza this Sunday, as the guys pull out all the stops for their final Ibiza performance for the summer of 2010 in the closing set. We recommend getting in there early however, to check out residents Jason Bye and Andy Baxter going back to back before 2020 Vision main man Ralph Lawson plays his last set of the summer also. Then it's over to Ewan Pearson, back for round two after an amazing set in the Discoteca a few weeks ago, before terrace king Steve Lawler storms into the peak time.

Next door in the Discoteca, we'll be opening with Paul Mogg at the controls (after which he'll be heading in to El Salon alongside his good mate Pablo, playing a second set under the name of Psychonaughts) warming things up for DJ Hell  who in turn is sure to set the right tone for this week's exclusive live show from this year's We Love... fave Joris Voorn, followed by the one and only We Love...summer show by Technasia.

Out on the Sunset Terrace, We Love... resident Jem Haynes kicks off the first of his two-set special with a special b2b set with DJ Smutt. Alfredo and Ian C are up next, doing what they do best, followed by Funkagenda and his much-loved mish mash of exclusive re-edits and hands-in-the-air anthems, a star is born!

In the Red Box, The Burlington Project presents the last of our Freshblood winners, Just Jack, featuring Dan Wild and Tom Rio. They'll be joined by residents Ryan O'Gorman, Andy Carroll, and Jem Haynes rears his head for the second time in the club that night!

The Premier Etage is continuing to prove to be a popular choice among We Lovers, with the eclectic and varied sets by our local residents keeping clubbers dancing even when they've gone upstairs to chill out! This week, Alex Wolfenden, Jon Howell, Andy Carroll (fresh from a stint in the Red Box) and Ian Blevins will be your trusty entertainers for the evening... See you up there!

WE LOVE... LOOP RECORDINGS In and out of the mayhem that is Ibiza, two of our residents have been preparing for a winter musical onslaught. The story started with Ian C and Jem Haynes jamming in a rave cave, which turned out to be a very nicely equipped studio in the countryside of south east England and with no outside distractions (or windows) to stop them, a series of many long, experimental and purposeful sessions ensued. Eight months later a bold new label, Loop Recordings, is on the verge of being launched.

WE LOVE... 2020 VISION SUMMER 2010

As always we love to spread the love. This summer a free compilation album has been handed out to visitors in and around our venue to showcase talent and tunes from the formidably enduring label 2020Vision. Based in Leeds, owned and operated by Ralph Lawson, his team of dedicated and genuine music lovers have shaped the imprint into one of the most respected house labels in the world. This week is Ralph's last set for the summer, from 11.30 - 1.30 so we'll be giving out an extra big bunch while he's playing - be there to score yours, but if you can't be there, from September 13 it will be available to download from Beatport, iTunes and Juno.

WE LOVE... SONICA SHOW

The first International Radio Festival is taking place this week in Zurich and our good friends from Ibiza Sonica have been invited to participate. They'll be there this Saturday, September 11, representing the white island, broadcasting live from the festival studio between 5pm and 11. As part of their programming, Andy Wilson is presenting a very special We Love ... show, featuring highlights from sets by DJ Hell, Joris Voorn and Ralph Lawson all recorded on the Terraza at We Love... Next up we have Will Saul who impressed us so much at his Space debut that we've got him manning the controls in the main room for this event. Another repeat performer, long-serving We Love... resident Mat Playford also returns, plus disco maestros Tirk Records, alongside their London compadres Future Disco in the 103.
